The goal of the Engaging the Scripture: Devotional Podcast is to help students and adults take the truths of God’s Word and engage them into their everyday lives. God’s Word is transformational, and we believe that as we think biblically and practically about it, it will change who we are.
The Host
Ben Birdsong serves as the missions minister at Christ Church in Birmingham, Alabama. He has served in church and para-church student ministry for over 10 years prior to serving in missions ministry. Ben has bachelors degrees in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Masters of Divinity degree from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School, and Doctor of Ministry degree in Ministry to Emerging Generations from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
